EMS Week Is May 18-24 PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 16 May 2008

ems_week.jpg Emergency Medical Services Week at Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department marks its 16th anniversary in 2008, promoting health and safety through awareness and education. The EMT's of ZCVFD and its EMS partners throughout Louisa County are featuring free services, demonstrations, and educational opportunities throughout the county. Make sure you help us celebrate these fine and dedicated volunteers and professionals that serve Louisa County.

To celebrate this year, we are providing a FREE Stroke Guide that can be downloaded on our website. Stroke is the 3rd leading cause of death and a leading cause of disability, and recognizing the first signs of a Stroke is key to survival.

EMS Week is sponsored by the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP). Education and prevention are two important ways we can keep ourselves and our families safe from harm.
