The inaugural Screamin’ 5K race was held on a rainy Saturday, October 25th, at the beautiful Spring Creek Community in Gordonsville, Virginia.
The Screamin’ 5K was created by group of residents who live in Spring Creek as a family friendly and Halloween costume friendly race. Its purpose is to benefit the Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department. Through a combination of race proceeds and donations from individuals and businesses, the Screamin’ 5K hopes to donate as much money as possible to the Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department who works diligently on a daily basis to service the rapidly growing community around them.
