Fun, family, food and fellowship. That's what it's all about at the Annual Open House. On Saturday, September 9th, the Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department opened its doors to the residents of the community to remember those that perished in the terrorist attacks on 9/11.
Along with the department personnel, the Virginia State Forestry Department, Virginia State Police, Red Cross Disaster Recovery Team, and Virginia Blood Services held live demonstrations, games for kids, prizes and free food.
In all, ZCVFD members and the community donated over 21 pints of blood to Virginia Blood Services!
If you live in the area, and missed this wonderful event, we encourage you to please stop by and meet the volunteers that help make our community a safe and enjoyable place to live. For directions to the firehouse, click here.
