The 3rd Annual Screamin’ 5K race will be held on Saturday, October 30th at the beautiful Spring Creek Community near Zion Crossroads, just outside Gordonsville, Virginia. The Screamin’ 5K was created by group of residents who live in Spring Creek as a family friendly and Halloween costume friendly race. Its purpose is to benefit the Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department. Through a combination of race proceeds and donations from individuals and businesses, the Screamin’ 5K hopes to donate as much money as possible to the Zion Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department who works diligently on a daily basis to service the rapidly growing community around them. This  year, the race donated $4,000 to ZCVFD, which will  help to purchase equipment for the departments newest piece of firefighting apparatus Truck 7.
